Paolo Faroni opens the ‘La quarta parete’ season at the Teatro Incontro in Pinerolo with *Un’ora di niente*, a monologue that blends theatrical storytelling, stand-up comedy and cabaret.

At its heart lies love – a meeting ground and battleground between idealistic impulses and instincts, grand dreams and everyday needs. Faroni takes aim first and foremost at himself, exploring platonic loves, aspirations and contradictions with an ironic and poetic eye.

A brand of humour that invites us to recognise ourselves in our human imperfections and, alongside the laughter, leaves room for reflection.
