A fascinating journey through history and nature, exploring the daily life of Neolithic communities in the Canavese region.
Through life-size reconstructions of dwellings, information panels and artefacts on display in the museum gallery, it recounts the prehistory of the area, with a focus on the Neolithic site discovered on the shores of the lake, allowing visitors to relive moments dating back 7,000 years.
The activity, lasting approximately 2 hours, includes a guided tour with an archaeologist of the Exhibition Space, followed by a pleasant and easy walk (around 25 minutes) along the vineyard path to reach the open-air reconstructions on the shores of Lake Pistono.
You can round off the day relaxing on the shores of the lake or extend the excursion with a visit to the other lakes in the area or to the Terre Ballerine.
Suitable clothing and walking shoes are required.
