Casa Parks is an old residence dating back to the early 20th century that Dora, a former trade unionist and feminist from the 1960s, has transformed into co-housing with stubbornness and great commitment, including financial, realising her lifelong dream: to help women, any woman in need. Men are strictly forbidden from living in the house or owning it.
The villa has numerous apartments, currently home to eight women who, for a variety of reasons, have chosen to live together: a retired teacher who is averse to technology and committed to the green cause, an opera singer at the twilight of her career who is disappointed with cosmetic surgery, an uncomfortable investigative journalist, a restorer with clear ideas about the art world, a lesbian couple grappling with possible motherhood, a brilliant vegan veterinary student...
