This event aims to raise funds to support a scholarship for a talented young student from the Conservatory's jazz course and the Too Young To Jazz festival.
This new edition focuses on the results achieved, giving space to the scholarship winners and the projects that have emerged: their groups will be the main protagonists, accompanied by prominent special guests.
Five groups will be the protagonists of the evening - Limen Collective by Fabrizio Leoni and Alessandra Soro, Trio Careful by Sonia Infriccioli, Mattia Basilico Quartet, Mashkataria Quartet by Caterina Graniti, Dario Caiaffa Quartet - who will be joined by special guests Nico Morelli, Gianpaolo Petrini, Alfredo Ponissi, Marco Tardito, Luigi Tessarollo and Emanuele Sartoris.
The Memorial will be enhanced by the presence of two artists with their works:
• Zhang Hong Mei, a contemporary Chinese artist known for her three-dimensional works that combine Chinese artistic tradition with innovative techniques, has designed the set and donated the poster design for the event, which will be reproduced in a limited edition as a benefit for donors.
• Sara Bowyer, an eclectic artist with an international outlook, will perform a live digital painting performance: her creations on a graphics tablet will be projected in real time, following the flow of the music in a dialogue between images and notes.
