A permanent exhibition on Pier Giorgio Frassati, who will be proclaimed a saint on Sunday 7 September, has been set up in the former rectory of the church of Santa Maria di Piazza.
The exhibition offers an emotional and immersive journey, accessible to all, that recounts the life and spiritual experience of Pier Giorgio Frassati through the use of advanced multimedia technologies, including light projections, evocative sounds and audio with the reading of letters by and to Pier Giorgio, interactive panels and applications that guide visitors on a biographical journey, exploring the historical context in which Frassati lived, the significant places of his life: Turin, its suburbs, the European cities he visited, the Pollone countryside and, in particular, the mountains, symbol of his quest ‘upwards’.
