Culture & Tradition

The event begins at the Circolo del Design with a guided tour of the exhibition *L’ingegnere e Margherita: la città del teatro*, led by the curators of the *Archivi d’Affetto* project.

Through archive material, photographs, documents and testimonies, the exhibition recounts Turin’s extraordinary theatre season of the 1990s, beginning with the dual production of Karel Čapek’s The Makropulos Affair, directed by Luca Ronconi.

Afterwards, the tour continues to the Teatro Carignano, the city’s oldest theatre, for a guided walk led by a group of young actors. A journey through boxes, corridors and backstage areas that weaves together history, anecdotes and curiosities linked to Turin’s ‘trincotto rosso’, restoring to the public the magic and memory of one of the most iconic venues on the Italian theatre scene.

Registration by Friday 19 June.
