An innovative and creative beekeeping workshop inspired by Fulvio Piccinino’s book, “Il Re era una Regina”, which explores the virtuous relationship between humans and bees over the centuries, aiming to help you see your next spoonful of honey with new eyes.
With three multisensory moments and four tastings of rare and unique honeys, we’ll discover the “fragrant” communication of bees, fascinating facts about their biology, and the production of honey.
To conclude the activity, an aperitif featuring honey as the main ingredient.
DISCOVER
What honey is and how it’s made. The society of bees, the role of the queen, and the importance of flowers and seasons. How bees communicate with each other to create the nectar of the gods.
TASTE
You’ll taste 4 types of honey in their pure form, experiencing the sweetness perceived by humans and that perceived by bees.
You’ll be flooded by the pheromones that bees use to communicate with each other.
At the end of the Experience, a savory finger food aperitif featuring honey as the star ingredient will be offered, and we’ll toast together with mead, the alcoholic beverage made from fermented honey.
This Experience can also be organized as a private event, at our venue or in any other location/city/country.
