Piamprato offers interesting opportunities for mountain enthusiasts.
There is a new ski-lift system which allows alpine skiing, whist the plateau in front of the village has a cross-country circuit, but it is most famous for ski mountaineering: the most popular runs are Colle Larissa, Colle della Borra and Cima Becher.
