On the Paths of Paradise: Two Days in Gran Paradiso National Park

An early autumn hiking weekend to admire the highlands of Gran Paradiso National Park before winter takes hold. The warmer light and the quiet stillness of this transitional season offer a wonderful chance to observe the park's wildlife as the animals prepare for the year's greatest challenge: winter survival. You will be accompanied by an Official Park Guide along two of the most beautiful trails in the Upper Orco Valley (Turin province) to discover the nature of the Alps.
Elevation gain and hike difficulty: approximately 450–750 meters of ascent along good trails and mule tracks. The route partly follows the area's "Royal mule tracks" between Chapili and Colle del Nivolet, reaching altitudes above 2,600 meters. Short, steep, and slightly rocky sections may be encountered on all routes; some prior hiking experience is required.
