Nel cuore del Parco Naturale Orsiera Rocciavrè, sopra San giorio di Susa, il rifugio GEAT Val Gravio è immerso nella natura e nei suoi colori. Quando nel 1928 fu costruito la vegetazione non era così rigogliosa e questi terreni erano adibiti a pascolo. Ma il tempo e il graduale spopolamento della montagna hanno permesso al bosco di tornare ad assumere la sua forma originaria circondando il rifugio e le borgate circostanti. Centralina idroelettrica e stufa a legna lo rendono natural friendly.
