Located in the historic centre of Cavour, inside a late 18th century building, the restaurant offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Exposed bricks, a fine coffered ceiling with period beams and a central pillar with capitals in Lusrrna stone frame a cuisine closely linked to the tradition of the area on the one hand and benevolently open to modern intrusions on the other. 

THE CUISINE
We select raw materials of the highest quality, such as Piedmontese meats from the historic butcher's shop “Silvio Brarda” in Cavour, where you can still find the prized Piedmontese oxen, fresh fish delivered directly from the fishermen of Savona, great cheeses from our alpine pastures, organic flours from the “Moulis mill” in Cavour, organic eggs from Olivero, and fruit and vegetables from small producers in the Pinerolo plain.
Our cuisine then seeks to re-elaborate these noble raw materials, maintaining their organoleptic qualities and transforming them into dishes with authentic and unique characteristics, which can combine creativity and a link with the territory.

THE
WINE CELLAR The result of research work, the selection of wines offered by our wine cellar is wide-ranging and accurate, with over 650 labels of the most varied origins and types.
The lion's share are the labels from Pinerolo and Piedmont.
Jealously guarded in the basement, characterised by exposed brick walls and vaults, the bottles in our cellar represent the beating heart of La Nicchia Restaurant.

LABELS FROM THE WORLD
Our wine list offers labels that start from the Pinerolo area and travel throughout Italy and then go as far as foreign countries, such as France, Germany, Slovenia, Austria and Lebanon.
Years of research, passion and knowledge have enabled us to create a wine cellar of over 650 labels ranging from small producers to large maisons, with a wide choice of vintages and collections.
