Fuji||||||||||ta

FUJI|||||||||||TA is a sound artist based in Japan.

In his practice he interfaces with natural phenomena such as air and minimal sounds in response to his interest in giving voice to unexplored noises, inspired by Japanese classical music (gagaku).

In 2009, the artist built a pipe organ in reduced form with which to present his work live. The release of the album iki on the cult label Hallow Ground in 2020 was a critical success, which brought him to the stages of Rewire Festival (NL), Big Ears Festival (US), Bourse de Commerce (FR) among others.

Participation is included in the exhibition ticket.
