Carlos Alcaraz became the first player to qualify for the 2025 Nitto ATP Finals on Tuesday when he advanced to the Wimbledon semi-finals.

The Spaniard will pursue his first trophy at the season finale, which will be held from 9-16 November at Inalpi Arena in Torino. He has earned his place at the event in four consecutive seasons.

The 22-year-old has now won 23 straight matches — marking the longest winning streak of his career — and 32 of his past 33 matches dating back to the start of his clay-court season in Monte-Carlo.

Alcaraz leads the ATP Tour this season with five titles and 47 tour-level match wins. His 90.4 winning percentage is also the best on Tour according to the Infosys ATP Win/Loss Index.

A champion in February in Rotterdam, the Spaniard then fell short of the title in three consecutive tournaments. But since then, the first-placed player in the PIF ATP Live Race To Turin has been nearly unbeatable.

Alcaraz was lifted ATP Masters 1000 trophies in Monte-Carlo and Rome, claimed his second Coupe des Mousquetaires at Roland Garros, emerged victorious at Queen’s Club and is now two triumphs from earning his third straight Wimbledon crown.

If the second seed claims glory on Sunday, he will join Bjorn Borg as the only men in the Open Era to complete the Roland Garros-Wimbledon double in consecutive years. The only woman who has accomplished the feat in the Open Era is Stefanie Graf.

Alcaraz’s best run at the Nitto ATP Finals came in 2023, when he reached the semi-finals before falling to eventual champion Novak Djokovic. Last year he defeated Andrey Rublev in round-robin play, but did not make it through his group.

JANNIK SINNER

Sinner Atp Qualified

Jannik Sinner has officially qualified for the 2025 Nitto ATP Finals, the prestigious tournament that closes the world tennis season. The 23-year-old South Tyrolean is the second player to secure his place at the event in Torino, after his rival Carlos Alcaraz.

The number 1 in the ATP PIF Rankings will return to the Inalpi Arena from 9 to 16 November 2025 to defend the title he won last year, when he triumphed without losing a single set.

This will be Sinner's third consecutive and fourth overall appearance at the Nitto ATP Finals. His record in the tournament is impressive: 10 wins and only 2 losses, both against the legendary Novak Djokovic (one of which was in the 2023 final).

In the 2024 edition, in front of his home crowd, Sinner made history by becoming the first Italian champion of the ATP Finals.

A record-breaking 2025 for Sinner

  • Sinner's 2025 season was one to remember:
  • Victory at the Australian Open (second consecutive title)
  • First triumph at Wimbledon
  • Final at the Masters 1000 in Rome
  • Final at Roland Garros, losing to Alcaraz after having three match points

Thanks to these results, Sinner remained world number one for 60 consecutive weeks from June 2024, the only tennis player to occupy the top spot this season.

Serbian champion Novak Djokovic is the third player to qualify for the Nitto ATP Finals, after Alcaraz and Sinner. This is Djokovic's eighth consecutive qualification. He made his debut in the end-of-season tournament in 2007, at the age of 20, and has only missed qualification once, in 2017.

Djokovic's presence, which equals Roger Federer's record for the most Nitto ATP Finals appearances at 18, was confirmed when the draw for the ATP 500 tournaments in Basel and Vienna was announced.

The highlight of the Serb's season came in Geneva, where he won his 100th tour-level title, becoming only the third man in the Open Era to reach this milestone, alongside Jimmy Connors (109) and Roger Federer (103).

The Nitto ATP Finals, which the record holder with seven titles won for the first time in 2008, will be played from 9 to 16 November at the Inalpi Arena in Torino, a city where Djokovic has lifted the trophy twice.

ALEXANDER ZVEREV

Two-time Nitto ATP Finals champion Alexander Zverev qualified for the season-ending tournament after reaching the semi-finals in Vienna.

Zverev, who has qualified for the Finals for the eighth time in his career, joins Carlos Alcaraz, Jannik Sinner and Novak Djokovic in the draw at the Inalpi Arena in Torino, which will host the Nitto ATP Finals from 9 to 16 November.

In 2025, Zverev triumphed in Munich, winning the 24th ATP title of his career. According to the Infosys ATP Win/Loss Index, the German champion has a record of 17 wins and 10 losses at the year-end Finals. Since the event moved to Torino in 2021, he has won nine of his 12 matches, with two of his defeats coming in tie-breaks in the deciding set.

In 2021, winning his second Nitto ATP Finals title, Zverev became one of only two active players to have won the tournament more than once, alongside Djokovic.

TAYLOR FRITZ

Taylor Fritz will return to the Nitto ATP Finals one year after reaching the final of the season-ending tournament.

Fritz started this season well at the United Cup, where he led the United States to victory, and has not looked back since.
Fritz also reached his first Wimbledon semi-final and, subsequently, the final in Tokyo. Other notable results include semi-finals in Miami and Toronto.

Last year, Fritz defeated former champions Daniil Medvedev and Zverev on his way to the final, where Sinner beat him to win the title. This will be the 27-year-old's third appearance at the Nitto ATP Finals, having progressed beyond the group stage on both of his previous occasions.

BEN SHELTON

Ben Shelton will participate in the year-end championships for the first time after a record-breaking season, in which he reached his second Grand Slam semi-final and won his first ATP Masters 1000 title.

Shelton got off to a strong start in 2025, reaching the semi-finals of the Australian Open, where only future champion Jannik Sinner managed to stop him.
The most important moment for the former college tennis star came in Toronto: at 22, he became the youngest American to win a Masters 1000 since Andy Roddick.

ALEX DE MINAUR

Alex de Minaur has qualified for the Nitto ATP Finals, which will be held at the Inalpi Arena from 9 to 16 November, for the second consecutive season.

The 26-year-old secured his place at the season finale in Turin by reaching the quarter-finals at the Rolex Paris Masters.

The seventh player to qualify for Turin won his third ATP 500 title of his career in Washington this year. De Minaur also reached the final in Rotterdam and the semi-finals in Monte Carlo, Beijing and Vienna, where he claimed his 300th career tour-level victory.
