The Tinca Gobba dorata del Pianalto di Poirino is the only one in Italy to boast the PDO mark and, like the Asparago di Santena, was included in 2001 in the basket of typical products of the Province of Turin. Since the early post-war years in Poirino, Tinca and Asparagus have been, together and indissolubly, the protagonists of a fair that has now reached its sixty-eight edition and this year is scheduled from Friday 9th to Wednesday 14th May.
