The Land Shall Not Be Owned is Marwa Arsanios' first exhibition in Italy.

The focus of the exhibition is Who is Afraid of Ideology? (2017-ongoing), a film series investigating land exploitation and reappropriation in the Middle East and South America.

The exhibition includes the international premiere of the fifth chapter, co-produced by Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo, as well as drawings, embroideries and sculptures. Arsanios explores women's self-organisation against patriarchal structures, interweaving ecology, feminism and decolonial approaches.
