Born in 1995 thanks to the will of Patrizia Sandretto Re Rebaudengo, it has two bases: the Turin centre built ex-novo in a district which bears witness to the city’s industrial history and its changes – and Palazzo Re Rebaudengo in Guarene d’Alba, an eighteenth-century residence located in the Roero hills.
The Foundation is based on the Sandretto Re Rebaudengo Collection, an exemplary range of works reflecting research during recent decades.
The Centro also hosts exhibitions, concerts, theatrical performances, film projections, literary meetings and debates, in addition to carrying out lively educational activities for children, youngsters and adults
