Festival della Cicala 2026

The first festival dedicated to the history of music.
The idea for the Festival arose from the desire to offer a series of live concerts, conceived and commissioned with the specific aim of retracing a journey through the history of music, exploring compositional styles and various repertoires (this year from traditional music to jazz) across different historical periods, while also promoting the architectural, historical and cultural heritage of the Morainic Amphitheatre of Ivrea: for this reason, the concerts will be held in Romanesque churches, historic buildings, 18th-century guesthouses, modern industrial sites and nature parks.
