GiovedìScienza is a scientific divulgation event that has been bringing the world of research closer to the public for decades: it returns for its 40th edition with a programme that intertwines memory and innovation with meetings, ideas and protagonists who explain how knowledge, now more than ever, is in effect a form of participation.
The common thread running through this edition is change and adaptation, words that permeate scientific research but also the way it is communicated.
Science evolves, adapts and changes perspective, and with it, the way it is communicated changes too. A mosaic of stories that narrate humanity in its constant transformation, a journey between the past and the future: from the birth of the universe to digital connections, from artificial intelligence to renewable energy, from advances in understanding (and predicting) earthquakes to the technological revolutions of quantum computers, from bioengineering to the minds of our children to the social sciences and much more...
The programme is packed with events, spread across different venues, times and formats: in the morning, afternoon, evening and on Sundays, from the Polo del '900 to the Accademia delle Scienze, from the Colosseo Theatre to the Ragazzi e Giovani Theatre, from the Polo artistico e culturale Le Rosine to the libraries and Case del Quartiere, involving the whole city.
As every year, GiovedìScienza also devotes particular attention to the world of school, with meetings aimed at students and teachers.
