A programme of multidisciplinary events - from theatre to dance, live music to contemporary circus - at the Bertagnolio Theatre in Chiaverano and other venues in Ivrea.
The Morenica_NET project is now in its twenty-second year, renewing the values of collaboration and participation, summarised in the subtitle accompanying this new season: To the community.
Among the major guests: Tindaro Granata - at the opening of the season - with the songs of Mina in a project inspired by his encounter with the inmates of the Messina Prison; the new production based on texts by Viridiana Casali, directed and performed by Francesca Brizzolara and Raffaella Tomellini, in three one-act plays about women, time and work; the enchantment of fairy tales shattered by Licia Lanera at the Movicentro ZAC! accompanied by the dreamlike soundscape of Qzerty; the dinner-show by the Teatro delle Ariette to recount the present through wheat and the ritual of bread; the historic masterpiece Le fumatrici di pecore (The Sheep Smokers) by the Compagnia Abbondanza Bertoni at the Teatro Giacosa in Ivrea; the danced investigation into Italian masculinity by director and playwright Giuliano Scarpinato; Ilaria Drago's contemporary Circe, also explored in a subsequent training session for a poetic journey from the self to the stage.
But also the freshness of the work of the Compagnia Les Moustaches, Luciano Menaldino's short film on femicide, the focus on the 80th Anniversary of Liberation with the presentation of the show Mucche Ballerine (Dancing Cows), a new appointment with Giorgia Goldini's stand-up comedy, local creativity on stage with the Compagnia Foravia, the contemporary circus of C'Art Comic Education, the young singer-songwriters of Glocal Sound and, finally, an exploration of nature in search of the Strada Maestra, in a collective ritual that concludes the programme in May 2026.
