A concert-performance that traces the years and key episodes of the Italian Resistance through the songs that formed its soundtrack, and through the reading and interpretation of partisans’ memoirs, letters from those sentenced to death, and diary entries from those who lived through it.
The show was created with the aim of introducing those born in a now very distant era to the years that led to the freedom we enjoy today, and to remind everyone of one of the fundamental chapters of our history, with the emotion and poignancy that music is able to convey.
