As the sun sets, La Mandria Park is transformed, revealing a magical atmosphere where the line between nature and legend becomes blurred: this will not be a mere stroll, but a true journey back in time.
We will journey through bygone eras, recalling the exploits of valiant knights and the secrets of ancient castles that once dominated these lands. The highlight of the experience will be a visit to the splendid little Church of San Giuliano: a small architectural gem nestled in the greenery, which will open its doors for the occasion to reveal its thousand-year-old history.
On the way back, the silence of the woods will be our travelling companion. Guided by the sounds of the night, we will explore meadows and clearings in search of the park’s inhabitants, both large and small: it will be the perfect opportunity to learn to recognise the calls of nocturnal birds and, with a bit of luck, catch a glimpse of the large mammals that inhabit the protected area.
