You can not be serious

From 08/11/2025 to 16/11/2025
Torino
Culture & Tradition

Free admission exhibition, curated by the Racquet Museum: an exhibition that invites the public to take a journey through the words and numbers that have shaped the history of tennis. Phrases that have fired up the public, legendary quotes, but also incredible statistics, unbeaten records, and little-known curiosities are woven together in a narrative that combines emotion and precision to convey all the complexity and beauty of tennis.
The title of the exhibition refers to one of the most famous exclamations in the history of sport, the legendary “You can't be serious” shouted by McEnroe at a line judge at Wimbledon. An exclamation that became a symbol of protest, but also a symbol of how a few words, in a moment, can be imprinted in the collective memory.
