BEFORE LEAVING
- Consult ARPA Piemonte weather and avalanche forecast.
In case of avalanche danger, do not undertake any excursion; - equipped yourself with an avalanche rescue kit: ARTVA, shovel and probe as required by Art. 26, Paragraph 2, Legislative Decree 40/21;
- choose itineraries according to your technical and physical abilities and your equipment;
- contact Alpine Guides, Nature Guides, Ski Schools or inquire at Tourist Offices if you have any question;
- do not undertake the hike alone; if you do, inform a trusted person of the route you are going to take.
REMEMBER:
- the indicated paths are only groomed by people on foot: no mechanical, daily or periodic maintenance and grooming service are provided;
- walking times are approximate and may vary depending on environmental conditions, snowpack and one’s own abilities.
- the difficulty level marked on each trail may vary depending on snowpack conditions.
DURING THE EXCURSION:
- Wear warm clothing and footwear suitable for the winter mountain environment and bring with you all the necessary devices and equipment for your safe excursion;
- always bring with you water, sunscreen, hat, UV protection sunglasses;
- do not stray off the track: always follow the path in order not to lose your direction and run the risk of accidents;
- do not disturb wildlife and always keep your dog on a leash;
- do not throw litter and cigarette butts into the environment but take them with you.

NO LIABILITY IS ACCEPTED FOR ANY ACCIDENTS THAT MAY OCCUR WHEN WALKING ALONG THE ROUTES.
IN CASE OF EMERGENCY CALL 112 pointing calmly and precisely the following pieces of information:
• who you are
• what it has just happened
• where the accident has occured
• when it has happened
• how many people have been involved and how many rescuers are present on site
• if they are any information on the morphology of the place and on the weather conditions (useful for the helicopter rescue)
