Before providing answers, the Maritime Alps Park Centre offers visitors the opportunity to learn more about the animal and its behaviour, thus providing them with all the information they need to form an informed and conscious opinion. The Men and Wolves Centre comprises an enclosure of about eight hectares, which is home to several specimens of Canis lupus italicus. These are exclusively animals that could not live in the wild, either because they have been victims of serious accidents or because they were born in captivity. At the centre of the area stands a three-storey tower from which it is possible to observe a large portion of the enclosure.
The tower is reached via a tunnel, inside which there is a visitor trail that presents the wolf from a naturalistic point of view. In addition to the enclosure and tunnel in Casermette, located at the headquarters of the Maritime Alps Park, the Uomini e Lupi Wildlife Centre includes a second exhibition space in the village of Entracque, dedicated to the relationship between humans and wolves.
