Generiamo is an educational and creative programme that gives a voice to the younger generation through a collective exploration of gender stereotypes, relationships and the prevention of violence.
The initiative will feature Class 1A from the Schweizer Secondary School – I.C. Duca d’Aosta and Class 1D from I.C. Pacinotti, who will present to the public a collection of fairy tales free from stereotypes, born out of a process of discussion, imagination and collaborative writing.
The stories offer an innovative approach to storytelling, breaking free from the logic of gender binarism and the stereotypical models that all too often limit the collective imagination from childhood onwards.
The event will be presented by Rosalba Castelli, artistic director of Rosso Indelebile and a travelling artivist, who in the preceding weeks has met with the classes, symbolically guiding them through the stages of the Orme d’ombra project, sharing with them reflections, personal accounts and narrative tools to interpret reality through a more conscious lens.
The author and educational psychologist Stefano Rossi will also speak, presenting his book *Se non credi in te chi lo farà? L’arte di sopravvivere all’adolescenza* (If you don’t believe in yourself, who will? The art of surviving adolescence), an initiative included in the Off programme of the Turin International Book Fair.
