Light pollution, a phenomenon that limits the visibility of the night sky and alters ecosystems, is one of the most underestimated but increasingly important environmental challenges.
With the initiative Un cielo fatto di stelle (A sky made of stars), Infini.to invites everyone to reflect on the importance of this issue through a live show dedicated to the sky and its wonders and a meeting with Daniele Gardiol, Technologist at the Turin Astrophysical Observatory (INAF).
• Friday: observation evening
• Saturday: talk in the planetarium with Daniele Gardiol, with a presentation of the Starlight (Skills for Tourism and Recognition of the Importance of Dark Skies) and DarkerSky4ce (Strategic Transnational Approach to Reduce Light pollution in Central Europe) projects.
• Saturday and Sunday: live sky show inside the digital planetarium.
