A two-day wine fair and farmers' market involving producers from Italy and Europe who share the same values and principles.
At the Bunker in Turin, the underground heart of the city, Augusta offers enthusiasts and professionals in the sector opportunities for exchange and celebration, highlighting the diversity of narratives and the many ways of cultivating the land, approaching work, living and thinking about one's agricultural reality. The event will also feature a bookshop, street food and a big party.
Augusta is an event that pays tribute to Turin, the city that twenty years ago was the reference point for the natural movement in Italy, a crossroads for winemakers and drinkers from all over Europe. It was born from an idea by Piero Crocenzi, a long-standing event organiser and wine connoisseur: the aim is to involve the winemakers who have made known the true meaning of farming before even making wine. These are historic producers who have been present in the city for twenty years, but also producers who are making recent history, together with a small selection of producers not present in Italy.
