Last weekend at Giardini Sambuy: workshops, books, plants and community celebrations before the Christmas break.
• Saturday 20th - Christmas Flowers: flower exhibition and workshops for creating Christmas accessories and decorations. And a big surprise: the guest of the day will be Navid Tarazi, aka Doggodaily, an Iranian photographer and storyteller who has become a real social media phenomenon thanks to his project dedicated to dogs and their stories. With over 2 million followers on Instagram, Doggodaily recounts the deep relationships between people and their four-legged friends on the streets of Turin and beyond every day. On this occasion, a Christmas tree will be adopted and dedicated to beloved dogs who are no longer with us: the splendid weeping beech tree in the Sambuy Gardens will thus become the city's Dog Memorial Tree.
• Sunday 21st - Advent Books. Pages & Nature under the tree: a selection of books on the environment, animals and ecology for young and old alike. The day will continue with the engaging atmosphere of tango, marking the official closing of the Giardino Forbito 2025 events.
