The first event features the BBB Band, a group formed within the association Progetto Davide - an organisation founded in 2001 by family members and friends of Davide, a young man from Piossasco who lost his life in a road accident in 1998 at the age of just 23 - active in promoting social, educational, cultural and sports activities for people with disabilities in the Torino metropolitan area.
The band was founded in 2007 as an inclusive musical experience, with the aim of enhancing the expressive abilities of Roberto, one of the young people involved in the association, who loved singing while accompanying himself on the guitar and who is now the band’s drummer. Over time, the project has grown to involve educators, volunteers, musician friends and other young members of the association, giving rise to a collective artistic journey in which music becomes a tool for expression, sharing and participation.
On stage will be Rosa Marchetto vocals, Andrea Bona rhythm guitar, Ivano Pincelli bass, Roberto Bertinetti drums and vocals, Gianni Lucco Castello accordion and flute, Teo De Angelis guitars and vocals and Pieraldo Bona, joined by other young participants who contribute to some pieces with rhythmic and percussive interventions, helping to make each performance a truly collective experience.
The project Le Nuvole stems from a shared process of selecting songs by Fabrizio De André: a participatory journey in which the band members explored a wide repertoire before building a common setlist, the result of listening, discussion and collaboration.
During the performance, music intertwines with visual and textual contributions created by the association’s young participants, who interpreted the theme of clouds through drawings and writings later projected and read live, enriching the concert with a narrative and deeply personal dimension.
