Become a real Flower Detective and analyse flowers like a scientist.
In this workshop, we will explore flowers up close to discover what petals, pollen and leaves really hide. Through observations, small experiments and analysis with a microscope, we will investigate the molecules that give flowers their colours, scents and surprising structures.
As in a real scientific investigation, each flower will become a clue to follow: we will observe details invisible to the naked eye and discover how chemistry is at work in the flowers that herald the arrival of spring.
Recommended for ages 5 to 12.
