Bungaro presents Fuoco Sacro, his new album to be released on April 10. The record brings together twelve tracks and is conceived as a musical journey across places and cultures - from Salento to Greece, from Brazil to Hawaii -, created with Italian and international musicians.

One of the most respected songwriters in Italian music, Bungaro - the stage name of Antonio Calò - has written over the years for some of the most important voices: from Fiorella Mannoia to Ornella Vanoni, from Marco Mengoni to Eros Ramazzotti, as well as collaborating internationally with artists such as Alejandro Sanz and Youssou N’Dour. His writing has crossed genres, performers and generations, always maintaining a strong poetic identity.

Fuoco Sacro fits into this path as one of the most expansive and open projects of his career: not simply an album, but a sonic exploration that weaves together different musical traditions and proposes the song as a space of encounter. The collaborations featured in the album - including musicians such as Paolo Fresu and Omar Sosa - contribute to a layered, collective work, far from the most immediate market-driven logic.

The meeting with the audience becomes a special moment: not just a presentation, but a direct narration of an artistic journey that begins with writing for others and evolves into an increasingly personal and recognizable form.
