At the heart of the project lies the encounter between the villages: the song of oral tradition becomes the unifying and connecting element that binds the participants’ steps along the trails. On this journey, the Franco-Provençal language is not merely a memory but a living reality, which has found in the regulations for the protection of linguistic minorities the fundamental support needed to be preserved and promoted as a mother tongue.
