Certosa di Banda

Of the Certosa di Banda, in Villarfocchiardo, which has now become a country house, there only remains the Romanesque church, dating from 1200 - 1250, with a single nave and attached bell tower of the same period. The inside is rather bare: the only interesting element is the wood choir stalls with trefoil arches.
