The Director of the National Museum of the Italian Risorgimento, Alessandro Bollo, in conversation with curators Carmine Pinto and Silvano Montaldo: a meeting to discuss the motivations behind and relevance of the exhibition dedicated to brigandage, a phenomenon suspended between history and myth.
The public will be guided through figures, stories and memories that have shaped the relationship between southern Italy and national history. An opportunity to discover how the National Museum of the Italian Risorgimento aims to offer not only a historical reconstruction, but also a space for reflection on the present and on the processes of cultural re-elaboration that keep this complex page of our history alive.
This will be followed by the inauguration of the exhibition Briganti! Stories and Images from the Risorgimento to the Present Day with a guided tour accompanied by the curators.
