Solo exhibition of the artist Jacopo Rinaldi.
Invited in residence in December 2024, Rinaldi started an investigation into the ethnographic collection of the Art Gallery and the widespread heritage of the territory, involving local ethnographic museums, the Alpi Cozie Park and the Schools of Carving in Chiomonte and Bussoleno.
From this journey comes a reflection on the arboreal rites of May, in particular that of Chiomonte linked to the feast of Saint Sebastian, where the Pouento, a ritual symbol, represents the passage from the tree to the community, from nature to culture.
The Roman artist explores the gesture of turning as a ritual, in collaboration with the "Ferruccio Croce" wood carving School of Bussoleno, creating works that blend craftsmanship and formal research. Also on show are abstract views on slate slates, in dialogue with Levis' landscapes on tablets.
The exhibition is accompanied by a rich calendar of educational activities, guided tours and workshops for families and schools, in collaboration with local associations.
