Diego Marcon's Krapfen is the first work produced thanks to the New Futures Production Fund, a collaboration between the Sandretto Re Rebaudengo Foundation and the New Museum in New York. The video features a boy of ambiguous gender and four items of clothing: a pair of gloves, a scarf, pants, and a sweater. The childlike setting is accompanied by an alarmed and disturbing atmosphere, in which a krapfen seems to become a device for evoking emotions of terror and annihilation.
