Franco Neri - actor
Born in Turin of Calabrian origin, comedian and cabaret artist Franco Neri became popular with his show Professione Meridionale. 2003 saw the birth of Franco, ho Franco! ovvero come vivere felici al nord mangiando pane e melanzane (Franco, I have Franco! or how to live happily in the north eating bread and aubergines): the life, vicissitudes and folklore of a Calabrese integrated in the north. With appearances in many cult programmes, he enters Italian homes every night.
