On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Liberation of Italy, relive history through a special tour dedicated to the memory and symbolic places of World War II and the Resistance. This is a unique opportunity to discover the city in an engaging way, accompanied Turinese guides who will lead you to discover the historic center and its links to the struggle for freedom.
During the tour, you will have the opportunity to visit places that tell the story of Torino's history during the Resistance period, including the Roman-era Palatine Gates, evidence of an ancient and time-resilient Torino, and the squares where crucial events took place for the city. Guides will also introduce you to the landmarks of twentieth-century Torino, with a focus on the Liberation and the protagonists who helped write the history of the Italian Resistance.
The tour will conitnue at the city's historic cafes, which, in addition to being places of culture also hosted meetings that were fundamental to the political and social life of Torino during those years.
