Milan Interiors 1923-1978) is the new book that author Orsina Simona Pierini presents in conversation with Elena Dellapiana and Sara Maragotto. The volume explores the colours of 20th-century Italian architecture, particularly those of Milanese homes. The research highlights how colour has been a central design tool, from the pastel tones and primary colours of early rationalism to the greens and browns of the war years, to the chromatic explosion of the post-war period and the more radical experiments of the 1960s and 1970s.
