Beneath Adelaide Castle, where the foundations of the Roman praetorium of Segusio – ancient Susa – lie, a curse tablet has reawakened the spirits of the dead: the shadows are rising floor by floor, and the living are needed to stop them.
This is no ordinary guided tour. It’s an experience that’s a cross between a tour, a theatre performance and an escape room: you enter as a group, split into three teams, and on each floor, each team solves its own puzzle. Only by piecing together the three solutions can you move up to the next floor.
You’ll need to read what’s written backwards, rediscover a name that nobody uses any more, and convince those who don’t want to be convinced. Some puzzles can only be solved by closely examining the museum’s genuine artefacts.
Tours depart every 20 minutes.
