Two days of tradition and food and wine.
The Cisrà, a Lanzese tradition dating back to the 18th century, was born as an act of solidarity towards those in need: offering a hot dish to those in difficulty.
Saturday 7
- all day, Casa dei Ceci: possibility to watch the preparation of the traditional Cisrà
- 5-7 p.m.: guided tours to discover Lanzo (booking required)
- 9 pm, Piazza Gallenga: concert by the New Alveo Choir and the Norwegian Rygjaljom choir (in case of bad weather, San Pietro in Vincoli parish church)
- evening: walk along the characteristic coastline to reach the Casa dei Ceci and see the continuation of Cisrà cooking
Sunday 8
- 8.30 am, Casa dei Ceci: blessing of the Cisrà and distribution to the population
- 10 am - 12.30 pm: guided tours to discover Lanzo (booking required)
- 12.30 p.m., Piazza Albert: lunch with the Cisrà (free offer), the proceeds of which will go to ‘Un ponte per un sorriso’ (A bridge for a smile) for solidarity projects. Reservations required by Friday 6
