The Metzger Brewery is once again opening its doors to the city: four days dedicated to brewing culture, featuring tastings, meet-and-greets with brewers, music, food, art and in-depth talks.
Visitors will have the chance to get an up-close look at the brewery and the people who make the beer, meet other players in the industry, take part in tastings and talks, listen to music and discover culinary delights.
In the courtyards of the production site, there will be tap stands serving Metzger beers and a corner dedicated to guest breweries, featuring a selection of those involved in the ‘Birrifici Ritrovati’ project: Metzger, Birrificio Perugia, Birra Busalla and Birra Puddu. The project brings together historic brands and contemporary producers to bring an important part of Italian brewing culture back into the spotlight.
Rounding off the culinary offering will be food from Touberi Restaurant, featuring a variety of street food options, whilst the nearby Tono will be offering a special menu for the occasion.
Guided tours, tastings and workshops are available by booking in accordance with the procedures outlined on the website.
