A unique exhibition entirely dedicated to the graphic art of one of the undisputed masters of the 20th century.
The exhibition leads into the enchanted world of the Catalan artist, in which colour, sign and imagination come together to create works that go beyond the limits of traditional form, making art accessible to all. Miró uses graphics as a medium to disseminate his poetic and magical vision, rich in symbolism.
Using techniques such as lithography, etching and silk-screen printing, he created a universe of colours and symbols that, although simple in form, possess an extraordinary expressive power.
The exhibition presents over 150 graphic works spanning Miró's entire career, from his early experiments to his more mature works. The graphic works exhibited at the Promotrice delle Belle Arti bear witness to Miró's incessant search for new forms and languages, as well as representing a privileged gateway to his inner world.
