From 23 November, the Egyptian Museum is undergoing a transformation.
A new immersive gallery! Six large LED walls bring to life ‘ECO. Landscapes in Transformation’, the Egyptian Museum’s first immersive project, inviting visitors to discover an Egypt in constant flux – a far cry from the static, timeless image perpetuated over the centuries by depictions of pyramids, temples and deserts.
The Isiac Table returns to the exhibition space. Following its restoration and display at the Scuderie del Quirinale, the Isiac Table returns to Turin and reopens to the public in the galleries dedicated to the museum’s history.
A new installation. In the Ellesiya Temple hall, ‘Reading the Terrain: A Journey through Archaeology, Layer by Layer’ is on display – a section dedicated to preventive archaeology.
