Culture & Tradition

We will trace the long history of archaeometry in Italia, starting from the first research groups at the University of Torino, through the activities of the Italian Society of Archaeometry (AIAr), to the cutting-edge instrumentation of the INFN network.

A journey through the ideas, practices, and infrastructures that have built, over time, the scientific community shaping contemporary archaeometric research today.

With Eliano Diana - UniTo, University of Torino; Anna Galli - AIAr, Italian Society of Archaeometry; Lisa Castelli - INFN, National Institute for Nuclear Physics.
