Flavio Albanese narrates in the first person The Adventures of Pinocchio to the notes of the famous music Fiorenzo Carpi wrote for Luigi Comencini's TV film.

Characters appear and disappear on stage, sometimes impersonated by the actor himself, at other times evoked through the magic of Variety Theatre.

Between prose and nursery rhymes, stories, songs, arias and recitatives, the show retraces the main events that led a simple wooden ‘log’ to become a child.
