The play stems from the encounter between two characters from other plays – a hapless man with philosophical ambitions and an eccentric nun – created by the cast of *Un appuntamento al buio*.
In a remote corner of a park, sitting on a bench, the two characters meet for a date following an advertisement. Rather than leading to an unlikely rapport, the encounter becomes a breeding ground for misunderstandings and failed attempts at connection, often giving rise to the ridiculous and the implausible.
