The Fiera della Toma in Condove is held every year to celebrate one of the traditional dairy products of the Susa Valley and the agricultural and livestock heritage of the Piedmontese mountains.
The event is rooted in the traditional return from the mountain pastures, marking the end of the summer season in the mountains for local farmers and herders. Today, it represents an important meeting point for producers, shopkeepers, artisans, associations, residents and visitors.
The main focus of the fair is Toma di Condove, a cheese deeply connected to the identity of the local area and promoted through specific production regulations and its traditional branding with a hot iron.
Alongside cheese producers, the fair offers a wide selection of local food&wine products, honey, bread, traditional sweets, handicrafts and other local specialities, together with a rich programme of activities: tastings, exhibitions, shows, activities for children, sporting events and initiatives related to Alpine culture make the fair an event suitable for a broad audience and families.
