Individual journey by bicycle along AIDA, from Susa to Milan
6 days / 5 nights
difficulty: easy
total km: 286
Aida (Alta Italia da Attraversare) is a FIAB (Federazione Italiana Ambiente e Bicicletta) project, part of the Bicitalia network (Italy’s large network of bicycle routes), to connect the cities of northern Italy using 50% of the bicycle roads already built: Turin, Milan, Verona, Venice, Trieste, a 900-km route.
In this proposal of the first 286 km you will find the first part of the route, which starts in the Susa Valley and precisely in the mountain town of Susa, to arrive in Turin and then, riding through the Po Valley and the rice fields of the Vercelli area, to Milan.
It can also be done in the opposite direction; the ideal is still to stay an extra day to discover these two fantastic cities.
