It is the typical cake of Chieri. It is a baked product: composed of simple and genuine ingredients, such as flour, milk, butter, sugar and eggs, it has a soft and elastic consistency; it is not a real focaccia but neither is it a brioche, it is a low, leavened cake! It is eaten especially at the end of a meal and its goodness is further enhanced when accompanied by the local Freisa wine. It can be found in the town's bakeries and pastry shops.
